We arrived in Tokyo-Narita Airport at 3:45 pm Japan time (2:45 am Eastern time). We had very good flights. No one had any upset tummies (praise God! I tend to get motion sickness). We met up with the rest of our group at customs, which was a breeze. We took a train from the Airport to Nipponi Station, a second train from Nippori to Uneo Station, and then a Shinkansen (bullet train) from Uneo to Sendai Station, where our hosts picked us up.
Everyone else has gone to sleep now, so I will make this short for now and post more details and pictures tomorrow.
Saturday plan: Sleep late, eat something, and visit camput at 1:00pm.

Your mom e-mailed me after you called her upon arrival. I am so glad for your uneventful travel (and for no motion sickness). I pray that all of the travel goes as smoothly as your trip over. Have a great time! Get some sleep.
Great to hear! I was thinking about you today and wondering if you had made it yet. Now comes the fun of trying to adjust to the new timezone! Hope you all have a great time and touch many lives! We will continue to keep you in our prayers. I guess this Blog thing could be pretty handy...paper and pencil would have definately taken longer...HA!
